Which Mental Conditions are Eligible for VA Disability?

Video Transcript

The VA has a long list of mental health conditions that they cover for VA disability compensation. So I just generally want to talk to you about the major conditions and that would include anxiety, PTSD, panic disorders, chronic adjustment disorder, schizophrenia, OCD, memory loss, inability to focus and these mental conditions can range anywhere from zero to 100%, depending on the severity. The VA is also wonderful experts at handling and treating veterans that are experiencing suicidal thoughts and ideation. If you are a veteran struggling with suicidal thoughts, please contact the VA as soon as possible.
