Top VA Disability Changes in 2025

Video Transcript

It’s 2025, and that means there have been significant changes to your VA benefits. I’m Robert Hoffman with Veterans Guide, here to break down everything you need to know.

The VA is now focusing more on the severity of your mental health symptoms rather than the impact they have on your daily life.

Next, sleep apnea ratings are seeing a major adjustment. With the updated criteria, veterans using a CPAP machine may now only receive a 10% rating instead of the previous 50%.

Finally, veterans will no longer receive a separate 10% rating for tinnitus unless it’s linked to another condition. This significantly impacts veterans who currently rely on tinnitus as a primary claim.

Navigating these changes can feel complex and sometimes overwhelming, especially with all the red tape. If you have questions about your rating, need help with an appeal, or need guidance on the latest VA changes, please reach out to us today.

Call us today at 888-982-10009.
