  • Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) offers free public transit rides on Veterans Day.
  • Eligible riders can use any RTC Transit fixed-route service at no cost for the full day.
  • Offer duration: 12:00 a.m. – 11:59 p.m. on November 11 (Veterans Day)
Who Is Eligible?
  • Active Duty military members
  • Veterans
  • Military Retirees
Program Restrictions
  • Valid only on Veterans Day (Nov. 11).
  • Applies only to RTC fixed-route transit services in Southern Nevada.
  • Does not necessarily apply to paratransit or special services (unless specified by RTC policy).
  • Offer may require valid identification at boarding.
  • Availability limited to RTC service area.
Verification
  • Riders must present:
    • Valid military ID, or
    • Veterans identification card (from any state)
  • Verification is completed at boarding with transit staff if requested.
How to Get Your
RTC
  • Travel to any RTC fixed-route bus or transit service in Southern Nevada.
  • Board on November 11 between 12:00 a.m. and 11:59 p.m..
  • Present valid military or veteran identification if requested.
  • Ride for free on eligible RTC transit services for Veterans Day.
